Ideal for pulling out dents and removing dents from double-skin vehicle bodywork

The stud welding gun is used to spot-weld studs on to dents or dings on bare-ground metal. For very long dents, the pulling studs are spot-welded at distances of approx. 3 cm according to the shape of the dent. The puller is pushed onto the spot-welded pulling stud and tightened by turning the knurled ring to the right. The dented sheet metal is then simply pulled out by sliding back the weight. Puller studs are available in 2.0 and 2.6 mm thick versions and welded and pulled using the same chuck. Puller studs are clipped off at the head and the remainder is ground down.

This device can also weld rivets used, for instance, by automotive manufacturers Opel/Vauxhall, Ford, Renault etc. to mount and secure various trim clips. To weld rivets, you will require the magnetic mouthpiece which can be exchanged with the universal chuck.
